Last weekend there was a sand sculpture contest at a nearby beach. The talented sculptors were amazing and so were the entries. The sand that was used was trucked in and contains some kind of additive that keeps it from drying out and crumbling. The area was packed Friday and Saturday with people watching the artists at work. We waited until the day after the judging and prizes to visit and treat ourselves to a yummy pizza.
